Caramel is one of my favorite flavors but it's a garnish not to eat by the spoonful. I spread it on my protein cakes or waffles usually with a dollop whipped topping. Yummy!It is quite sweet and caramelly. It is perhaps too sweet, has a slight aftertaste, and a gelatinous texture. But it is zero calories! so I can overlook its slight imperfections. A valuable tool in the fight against caloriesIt has a strange taste. Not very Carmel tastingI love dipping my apples in this for a quick, low-calorie snack. It has an odd gel-like texture, but the taste is amazing! Chilling in the refrigerator before dipping helps with the texture. I haven’t tried it warm, but some suggest heating it to put on apple pie.It was okWell you can't expect much if you buy something completely calorie free. So my expectations weren't high. I knew it would have that after taste that you get with diet soda and other sugar free products. But I have to say that the sugar free after taste is there as soon as it hits your tastebuds....not after and it's stronger than most sugar free products. It's also very runny. I eat and drink a lot of sugar free products but I think I will forgo this one in the future.I never leave negative reviews, but this is not even food. There should be a way to get a full refund for products of this qualityits sweet and sickly with a synthetic caramel taste. Great idea as a substitute if you are on a no carb or calorie controlled diet but not really that delicious. Put it this way, I can eat a jar of Nutella or Biscoff -no problem! but this sat in my fridge for weeks, in fact, its still there and I'm not tempted. Plus its not very cheap!!! Obviously ts not a dessert -its meant to be a dip or a sauce so that means you would taste the stuff that it is served with and not concentrate on the weird bland flavour of this. other reviewers have said don't expect too much - for the price I did expect quite a tasty product.This was good, however the flavour was quite chemically and the aftertaste was unpleasant. I couldn't imagine having more than a couple of teaspoons at a time (although my original intention was to consume most of it at once!). Didn't finish it however would provide a very good replacement for anybody unable to consume normal caramel for any reason.I was very sceptical that this could taste good but I figured I'd give it a go. Expecting the worst (and to have wasted my money) I was very pleasantly surprised at the taste! It isn't a dip that you want to eat straight from the spoon, it's still slightly too odd a flavour for that, but stirred into yoghurt, or ice cream, or straight up with fruit it really is delicious and settles your sweet-tooth cravings. I worried that it would make me crave other sugary foods but haven't found that happen. These are quite expensive to buy in this country but if you can afford it I reckon it's worth it!I suppose when I opened this and it smelled delicious and tasted fairly nice, I was just impressed by the fact that it wasn't totally inedible.The novelty wears off after a couple of days though and the gelatinous brown goo just sits in your fridge untouched for a month.But for basically no calories, you can't really complain.THIS STUFF IS AWESOME. I use it for everythingI Whenever I eat fruit I have it on top, its so much nicer. You can use it in smoothies, on top of cakes, and my housemate even uses it to sweeten her coffee and it tastes like a caramel latte. I don't know why it has so many bad reviews. Ok, it isn't the same taste and texture of caramel, but caramel is made of mostly sugar, what were you expecting?!?! It tastes to me like caramel flavoured lollipops. The tub is huge and has lasted me for ages I cant even remember how long ago I bought it!
