Finding a lunch box that would fit the different containers we use was a challenge. These (with separate top and bottom compartments) allow my kids to take hot items in one area and cold in another, and the food is still fresh and warm (or cold) when it's time to eat lunch.Our kids take their lunch to school every single day, and we have had these lunch boxes for almost three years - by my math we have sent almost 500 lunches with each child, ranging in age from Kindergarten to Freshman in High School, and they are holding up very well. Every school day they get tossed in bags, spilled on, banged into doors, thrown on the floor and every other kind of abuse our kids can throw at them. No tears, ripped seams, stains or bad zippers so far!When they get dirty, we just throw them in the tub with some detergent and let them soak, then give them a quick scrub and rinse. Honestly you could probably machine was them, but we don't risk it.My 8 year old daughter picked this lunch box out online. I wasn't overly thrilled with her selection as it looked huge and I wasn't sure how that would work out for her. I have come to truly love this lunch box. It comes with a plastic storage box in the bottom, where I pack her lunch. This helps to prevent crushing or smashing of food. I haven't had any trouble fitting what I want her to eat in the box. On the top portion, sometimes I place her afternoon snack, or cooler packs. It's a great extra space to use however needed. The 8 year old is clearly smarter than I am, and I am very happy this is the lunch box she chose.We got this bag for our daughter for her school and it is perfect for her. I can put her morning snacks, juice pack, several small boxes with cut fruits, raisins in it along with her actual lunch box. The upper compartment still has plenty of room to keep her sippy cup, milk bottle and 1 or two small boxes. We were also pleasantly surprised to see that it came with a big plastic box which fits perfectly in the lower compartment. Though we do not use it on a daily basis, it is perfect for a sandwich box and can fit around 4-5 sandwiches. Also the material inside the bag is very easy to clean with a wet cloth or wipe.All in all a great buy and we highly recommend it.I ordered the "Zigzag Pink" pattern, and I couldn't be happier!I love that it has 2 compartments, that way I can put the heavier stuff on the bottom and the crushable stuff in the top. And LOVE that is has a shoulder strap! The only thing I would change is I would have liked a cup holder or something on the outside. But it's not that big of a deal and I am happy with my purchase. I've already received several complements on my new lunch box!! = )FYI: the pink is almost a neon pink, I like it, but if that's not what you're looking for, it may not be for you.I had been searching for a lunch bag for my son for a long time that was just the right size. When he was a baby, ones that were more upright were great for his bottles for daycare. But once I started packing more traditional lunches, using mostly horizontal containers, I needed something that would hold those, without having to tip them on their sides. The bottom compartment is perfect for most containers, even the larger ones like Bentgo, and then my son's milk cup and snacks fit great in the top compartment. I love this lunch bag!Both my 12 year olds use this lunch box. It's constructed well, survives the class lunch basket and has ample storage. What I don't like is having to lay their drinks down and depending on the size placing it above or below with ano ice cooler is challenging since you don't want to freeze some items but you want the drink cold. But all in all, it's a nice size and has worked out well for both.I am 81 yr old and work for Enterprise driving cars. This lunch bag is perfect for me. I have my lunch in the top part and keep my GPS in the lower part. This is the second one I've had. The first lasted about 5 years but the zipper pulled out of the track. Put is was so perfect that I ordered another one.LOVE These lunch bags!I bought these for my 4 kids & they have tons of room!It comes with a plastic containers in the bottom but we didn't use those (they have become barbie storage for accessories, lol)We use the YUMBOXE'S in the bottom of these lunch boxes and fits perfect! we use 2 slim ice cooler packs right on top of them, and it keeps them perfectly cold.The top of the lunch fits my kids 12 oz thermos Funtainer (laying on it's side), and a bunch of snacks.Also love that there is a shoulder strap, or you can carry it by hand.I didn’t use the box that it came with.But the bottom section fit the ice pack with her bento lunch box perfectly!! And leaving room on the top for her hot lunch and cutlery.Perfect for packing lunch and snack!So far this bag has lasted my 5 year old the whole school year. I totally recommend it to other moms as well. I use the bottom section to house her Bentgo lunch box and the top can hold a lot of snacks. It is not insulated but my ice pack from the dollar store that I use keeps everything cold.Fits all my meal plan containers for a 12 hour shift. Love it.Great lunch boxlove it .Just a bit expensive
